Not as good as the original one

Cozy restaurant with the option of eating inside the room or outside. Moderate prices, good customer service. On this last visit, the waiter who served us did not know if he was tired or going through a bad time, he was super distracted and did not give good service. However, the food is exquisite. The room is super clean and organized in compliance with the executive order on the management of Covid-19. The bathroom was in very good condition as far as toilet is concerned. Recommended.

Excellent food but poor pick up service. I waited almost 20 minotes to pick up an order. Nobody present at the pick up place. I had to call and still wait for service person to show up.

The good, their staple is Cuban food and to their credit the congri rice was blissful and the pork was really good. All around solid flavors and nice atmosphere. The bad some of the dishes are overpriced, for what is been served. The ugly, service is SLOW be prepared to wait, and wait and then wait a little bit more.

The Ajiaco Soup was great but the Cuban Picadillo not as good, service was ok.

Good food but there are quite a few bad servers. It's a shame, they cook very well.

Good food, good service, complying with the protocol of distancing, temperature, hands Sanitaizer and mask. A family atmosphere, good seasoning in meals, courtesy, etc. We recommend it 100%.

Love the steak with mofongo

In all Metropol de PR I have always had an excellent experience. This was no exception. The place is beautiful, the service, the food and the prices are the same as in the other restaurants of this chain. Tremendous!

Excellent meal.

Today I went to Rest. Metropol of Mall of San Juan to eat with my family. We arrived at 2:30 pm. Carlos, the waiter assigned to us, immediately took our order. He told us that they would be serving us in approximately 15 minutes. Our food arrived 1 hour later. When I asked him about my plate, he asked me to repeat what I had ordered an hour before. He indicated that it was not done because the ticket had been lost in the kitchen. I told him not to prepare it now, I couldn't believe he waited so long and not prepared. Then I pointed out that my granddaughter did not eat the food because it was brought in absurdly cold, just like the rest of my family's dishes. My daughter never got the second supplement. It is unfortunate to have had this experience in a restaurant like Metropol. Having taken the afternoon to share with the family and that it was not achieved. After waiting so long, I went out without dinner, like my 3-year-old granddaughter, for one unprepared meal and the rest ridiculously cold. Very unfortunate.

Fast service, good cuban food with many options. They have daily specials from $6.99 with very good portions. They have outdoor and indoor eating areas close to the valet parking. Try the gallinita rellena de arroz congri and you can thank me later.

Excellent food and good atmosphere

We visited the mall of san juan location. The food was cuban/puerto rican! And it was so good! Service was great as well as even though there was abit of language barrier. We got the empanadas, the puerto rican beef stew & steak salad for appetizers. The stew was so tender and hearty. The empanadas was very well seasoned and flaky. The steak salad had sweet plantains in them and I was in love with it. It brought a sweet taste to the savory salad. For dinner we had the lamb chops with rice and beans and the Puerto Rican styled fried rice. The lamb was so tender and the rice and beans very flavorful. Same for the fried rice. Very good. Overall it was a great experience and it was a favorite

Only 3 because although the food tasted good, I did not like the fact that the waiter mentioned to us that if we wanted to add salad to the dishes. To our surprise ... when the bill arrived, that salad was not included in the plate. To give you an idea, salad with 3 small pieces of avocado = $ 6 ...... cheek. The least the waiter should have indicated for me was that this service was additional.

First of all late attendance. Except they cater more to the drinker. The toasted food. The appetizers yuck you couldn't chew. That was my first time going. I'm not going back.

Need to improve customer service...

Very rich in portions but they have to agree on how they are going to serve their dishes. I bought the same one on 3 different days and I got different servings in different packages. In very good taste the packaging of the excellent photo I asked for it by uber eats. I have no complaints about the taste, everything is very fresh.

I love Metropol, everything is consistent in the quality of its food. Spectacular on that side. If you sit outside, the server has to walk extremely long stretches between the kitchen and the tables, which makes him less efficient. My cutlery arrived 5 minutes after the meal ... with that I say it all.

I just got an Uber delivery. One of the items was spoiled and slimy. Already made a report with them. I call the restaurant twice to inform them. The first time I got answered and asked for a manager....5 min passed with no answer. The second call was hanged. Too bad because previous experience was good.

The food was lot of time to be served, the Sangria had a lot of Ice and it was watershed so fast, then it wasn't a good Service.

Just take out because of the Coronavirus Pandemic!! Cornish hen stuffed with " arroz congri" and fried greens plantain.
